LAHORE(our correspondent) Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has extended the deadline for undergraduate admissions for the Academic Year Fall 2026 to July 15, 2026.
According to university officials, admissions to BS, BE, Pharm-D, and DPT programs are currently being offered on a provisional basis based on First Year intermediate marks. Individual admissions will be formally confirmed only after the submission of complete Second Year results and fulfillment of the university’s minimum eligibility criteria. Interested candidates must submit their applications exclusively online through the university’s official portal (www.lcwu.edu.pk), as manual applications will not be processed.
Academic Programs and Faculties
LCWU is offering over 60 diverse programs distributed across seven distinct faculties:
- Faculty of Science & Technology: BS Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Computer Science.
- Faculty of Engineering & Technology: Software Engineering, City & Regional Planning, Disaster Management, and Electrical Engineering.
- Faculty of Management & Administrative Sciences: BBA and BS Commerce.
- Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences: Economics, Applied Psychology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Digital Media Studies, English Language & Literature, BFA Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Textile Design, and Interior Design.
- Faculty of Islamic & Oriental Learning: Urdu, Arabic, Persian, and Punjabi.
- Faculty of Education: BS Health & Physical Education, TESOL, and 16 unique B.Ed. specializations including Artificial Intelligence in Education, STEM Education, and Digital Educational Technology.
- Faculty of Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences: Pharm-D and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Eligibility and Entry Test Criteria
- General Programs: Candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate / HSSC / A-Levels or equivalent examinations.
- Professional Programs: A minimum of 60% marks is mandatory for admission to B.E. Electrical Engineering, Pharm-D, and DPT.
- Engineering Requirements: For the B.E. Electrical Engineering program, applicants must possess a valid entry test result from UET Lahore, NUST, NED-UET, MUET, NTS, ETEA, or any other PEC-recognized testing entity.
Quota and Interview Schedule
The university has reserved special quotas for individuals with disabilities, sports achievers, minorities, co-curricular participants, candidates from other provinces, and daughters of LCWU’s teaching and non-teaching staff. Quotas for Pharm-D and DPT will be governed strictly by Council regulations.
The schedule for institutional admission tests and interviews will be published on the official LCWU website after July 15, 2026.
