The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has officially announced the results for the Annual Matriculation Examinations. According to the released results, more than 27,000 10th-grade students were unable to pass the examination.
According to the board administration, a total of 97,950 students appeared in the 9th-grade examinations this year, out of which 57,847 passed and were promoted to the 10th grade. On the other hand, 95,496 students took the 10th-grade examinations, with 66,988 passing and 27,788 failing.
Top Position Holders
- Science Group:In the Science Group, Umama Ali secured the first position by scoring 1,182 marks. Syeda Atiqa took second place with 1,178 marks, while Hareem Khan stood third with 1,177 marks.
- Arts Group:In the Arts Group, Muhammad Abuzar clinched the first position with 1,088 marks. Saira Zafar came second with 1,074 marks, and Saif Hamdan secured third place with 1,062 marks.
Special Students Category
In the special category for disabled students, Mahmood Ayaz achieved top honors by scoring 1,060 marks to claim the first position. Rabia Bibi secured second place with 1,052 marks, while Muhammad Azan Khan finished third with 1,050 marks.
