Strategic Move Aims to Create Pakistan’s First Verified Digital Talent Pool, Enhancing Global Job Opportunities for IT Professionals
LAHORE (Special Reporter) The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate their respective degree verification systems. This landmark agreement paves the way for the digital verification of degrees held by highly qualified students and IT specialists in Pakistan.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Niaz Ahmad, Chairman of HEC, and Faisal Jaddi, CEO of PSEB. Under this strategic partnership, both organizations have decided to establish Pakistan’s first nationally verified Digital Talent Pool.
Speaking on the occasion, officials stated that the integration of degree verification systems is expected to significantly increase transparency and boost confidence in the country’s digital workforce. This initiative is anticipated to open new doors for Pakistani IT professionals, creating diverse job opportunities at both local and international levels. Furthermore, the collaboration between academic institutions and the industry will bolster the vision of a “Digital Pakistan.”
