ISLAMABAD (Education Reporter): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif officially inaugurated the Daanish School in Islamabad yesterday. Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that a lack of financial resources remains the greatest obstacle preventing millions of talented children from demonstrating their capabilities and advancing in life. He emphasized that establishing Daanish Schools is a vital component of the vision to provide equal opportunities for quality education to underprivileged and deserving children, aiming to offer them education at par with—or even superior to—the country’s premier educational institutions so they can actively contribute to national development through their hard work and talent. He further shared that the footprint of Daanish Schools is being expanded nationwide, with 27 new Daanish Schools currently under construction in various regions.
Earlier, the Prime Minister formally inaugurated the Daanish School in Islamabad and toured various facilities, including classrooms, science, IT, and robotics laboratories, as well as the art room, conducting a detailed review of the educational facilities provided to students. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan possesses millions of bright and talented boys and girls who, through continuous dedication, can not only transform their own lives but also propel Pakistan into the ranks of leading developed nations.
During a briefing, the Prime Minister was informed that the newly established Daanish School in Islamabad spans over an area of 30 acres, featuring separate academic blocks for male and female students. Each block comprises 24 classrooms, modern IT, science, and robotics labs, along with an e-library and an art room. Classes have initially commenced for grades six, seven, and eight, enrolling 360 merit-selected talented students from across the country. In conclusion, the Prime Minister commended the efforts of all concerned ministers and the administrative team behind the successful realization of the project.
