Reports of Paper Leaks Baseless; New Reforms to Enhance Transparency: Chairman Mardan Board

PESHAWAR (News Reporter) – The Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan, Professor Dr. Jehanzeb Khan, has categorically dismissed rumors regarding examination paper leaks, terming them “baseless propaganda” aimed at tarnishing the reputation of educational institutions.

Addressing the media, Dr. Jehanzeb clarified that news circulating on social media about paper leaks is unfounded. He explained that a paper appearing outside the examination center at 9:30 AM or 9:45 AM—well after the exam has commenced—cannot be classified as a “paper leak.” “Certain elements are engaged in negative propaganda to defame the board and high-ranking officials,” the Chairman stated. He added that such rumors not only damage the credibility of the institution but also create unnecessary anxiety regarding the transparency of the examination process.

To further strengthen the examination system, Dr. Jehanzeb announced the introduction of modern software designed to ensure merit and transparency. He emphasized that the regular training of teachers is indispensable for the successful implementation of these digital reforms, ensuring that the benefits reach the students directly.

The Chairman defended the decision to involve recent graduates in the examination process, calling it a “positive step.” He noted that:

  • This move has improved the efficiency of the examination system.
  • It has ensured that regular teaching activities in schools remain unaffected during the exam season.

While acknowledging that some negative reports emerged from other educational boards, including Nowshera and Swabi, Dr. Jehanzeb took pride in the fact that no such irregularities occurred under the Mardan Board. He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to continuous reforms to maintain the sanctity of the academic process.
