MARDAN (Bureau Report) – Teachers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have voiced strong opposition against the provincial government’s decision to appoint fresh graduates and private individuals as invigilators for the upcoming Matriculation annual examinations.
A representative delegation from AGEGA (All Government Employees Grand Alliance), representing Swabi, Mardan, and Nowshera, met with the Chairman of the Mardan Education Board, Professor Jahanzeb, to formally register their protest.
Key Concerns Raised by Teachers:
- Exam Integrity: Teachers argue that involving inexperienced individuals in the sensitive process of examinations will compromise transparency and the standard of the testing system.
- Professional Dignity: The leadership stated that bypassing experienced teaching staff for invigilation duties is an insult to the professional dignity of educators.
- Demand for Experienced Staff: The delegation, led by Niaz Ali Khan Khattak, demanded that only professional teaching staff be deployed for exam duties to ensure a smooth and fair process.
