KPK Govt Removes Chairman BISE Bannu; Chairman Kohat Given Additional Charge

PESHAWAR (Special Correspondent) – The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially removed the Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bannu from his post. The Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued a formal notification in this regard.

Following the decision of the Peshawar High Court and subsequent approval from the Chief Minister of KP, Sifatullah, a Grade-19 officer, has been relieved of his duties as Chairman BISE Bannu. He has been directed to report immediately to his parent department, the Higher Education Department.

Key Administrative Changes:

  • Removal: Sifatullah (Grade-19) stands removed from the chairmanship of the Bannu Board.
  • Interim Charge: To ensure administrative continuity, the Chairman of BISE Kohat has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Bannu Education Board.
  • Duration: The Chairman Kohat Board will oversee the affairs of the Bannu Board for a period of three months or until further orders.

The notification has been dispatched to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the Chief Secretary, and all provincial education boards for immediate implementation.
