KABUL (INP): A powerful explosion inside a student hostel at Kabul University in Afghanistan’s capital has left nearly 20 students severely injured.
According to Afghanistan International, the blast occurred last night, after which approximately 20 injured students were immediately rushed to Ali Abad Hospital. Medical sources report that all the injured are now out of danger. Following the blast, videos circulating on social media showed multiple ambulances stationed outside the Kabul University hostel as rescue teams provided emergency medical assistance.
Security High Alert and Official Silence
In an audio message, a student present at the hostel revealed that security across the entire premises has been heavily tightened, and the movement of students has been strictly restricted. Meanwhile, the Taliban government has not yet issued any formal statement regarding the nature of the blast, its cause, or those responsible for the incident.
