PESHAWAR (Staff Reporter) – In a significant development for the teaching community, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially recognized the 1.5-year B.Ed degree as equivalent to MA Education and M.Ed.
According to a notification issued by the HEC Student Affairs Division under the ‘Teacher Education Roadmap 2022’, candidates who have completed a 1.5-year B.Ed after 16 years of education (Masters or BS) will now have their degrees considered on par with traditional MA Education or M.Ed qualifications.
