ISLAMABAD (News Desk) The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially announced the final results of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination 2025. The results highlight a challenging year for aspirants, with a meager overall success rate of just 2.67%.
The Numbers Game
According to the data released by the commission:
- Total Participants: 12,792 candidates appeared for the written examination.
- Written Qualifiers: Only 355 candidates managed to pass the rigorous written stage.
- Final Recommendations: Following the interview process, the FPSC has recommended 170 candidates for appointment to various occupational groups.
- Gender Distribution: In a notable display of gender parity, the successful cohort includes 86 women and 84 men.
Top Performers
The top three positions in the prestigious examination were secured by:
- Asad Rafiq (1st Position)
- Mohammad Mohsin (2nd Position)
- Tariq Hafeez (3rd Position)
Allocation Trends and Regional Representation
The allocation of the “Top 30” position holders revealed interesting shifts in service preferences and regional dominance:
- Service Allocation: The majority of the Top 30 qualifiers have been allocated to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). Notably, not a single candidate from the Top 30 was allocated to the Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP) this year.
- Regional Statistics: Punjab continues to dominate the merit list, with 23 candidates from the province appearing in the Top 30. Balochistan followed with 3 candidates, while Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa each contributed 2 candidates to the elite top tier.
