PESHAWAR (Staff Reporter) – The Elementary and Secondary Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially decided to implement the ‘School Leader App’ to ensure transparency and discipline within the school system, effective from March 16, 2026.
Under this new digital regime, the performance, attendance, and field visits of School Leaders will be monitored online. It has been made mandatory for all School Leaders to upload their daily activities and visit reports directly through the application.
Key Features of the Digital System:
- Comprehensive Reporting: The app includes features for student academic assessments, records of model lessons, and Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) meeting data.
- Verification Mechanisms: To ensure the authenticity of monitoring reports, the app requires time-stamped and GPS-tagged photographs.
- Pilot Phase: Initially, the system will run on a pilot basis for one month, after which the professional evaluation of School Leaders will be strictly linked to their app reporting.
- Access & Security: For the first login, IDs and CNIC numbers will serve as passwords.
The Education Department has issued a stern warning that any negligence in duties or failure to report via the app will result in strict departmental and disciplinary action against the concerned School Leaders.
