LAHORE (correspondent)Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has described Pakistan’s successful diplomacy as a significant addition to the country’s political and military history. Welcoming the ceasefire aimed at ending tensions in the Middle East, the Minister lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s peace-building efforts, stating that his role in steering the region toward stability deserves to be written in golden letters.
Rana Sikandar Hayat remarked that the world has now acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic prowess in establishing peace in the Middle East. He emphasized that the combined diplomacy of Pakistan’s political and military leadership will be recorded as a monumental chapter in history.
Terming April 10 a historic day for global peace, the Minister stated that the “Islamabad Dialogue,” held under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will prove to be a major success in achieving sustainable peace. He further described the two-week ceasefire as a foundation for permanent and lasting stability.
The Education Minister concluded by saying that thanks to the tireless efforts of PM Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, a region once heading toward destruction now sees a renewed hope for the restoration of peace and security.
